In the part where I was describing the bad manager, I was describing myself as I was a couple years ago. I was so caught up in the day-to-day that I never fully explained my vision to my team. I wouldn't allow myself to take the time to paint the picture for everyone else, and nothing but bad things happened as a result. I can't imagine how unfulfilled everyone felt.

What's odd is the effect that this tunnel vision can have on your own mind as well.
