Columbus Digital Adobe User Group
Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008
Kudos to Mike Krotschek for giving everyone a kick in the pants and reviving our local Adobe user group.
COMMUG has been resurrected as Columbus Digital. The rename was much called for since Macromedia (the MM in COMMUG) is now absorbed into Adobe.
If you’re in the Columbus area, I urge you to come to one of the socials that are hosted on Tuesdays. It feels really nice to socialize with a group of people that understands what this tech stuff is all about. I’ve learned a couple things just from listening to others talk, and I hope some have learned a trick or two from me!
If you’re not in Columbus, you should look into finding a user group in your area. Over the years, this group in particular has opened doors for me in terms of knowledge, job opportunities, technical assistance, and inspiration. You’d be amazed at what the people in your area are doing with things like Flash, Flex, and all of the other web technologies!
