Podtech.network links to a speech that is a great overview of how building a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) relates closely to the idea of Web 2.0. This popular software engineering technique helps turn your content into services, and vice versa. I think a SOA helps turn software products into flexible investments, rather than the inflexible black boxes of functionality that most programs are today.
