Web 2.0: The global Service Oriented Architecture
Sunday, March 5th, 2006
Podtech.network links to a speech that is a great overview of how building a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) relates closely to the idea of Web 2.0. This popular software engineering technique helps turn your content into services, and vice versa. I think a SOA helps turn software products into flexible investments, rather than the inflexible black boxes of functionality that most programs are today.
This speech is pretty much non-technical in nature and is a “light listen.” It’s pretty clear, so listen, and you’ll get it. All you need is 45 minutes.
